In Bleach Episode 22, 3rd Captain Gin Ichimaru appears and prevents Ichigo and his group from going through the gate. They have no choice but to seek help from Kukuka Shiba, an old friend of Yoruichi. Granju, a strange man ridding a boar shows up and a fight was engaged between himself and Ichigo.
