Bleach (ブリーチ) is a manga series created by Tite Kubo with an anime TV series adaptation. Its main character, Ichigo Kurosaki, is a 15-year-old orange haired high school junior forced to become a substitute Shinigami after unwittingly absorbing the powers of Rukia Kuchiki, a female Shinigami assigned to patrol Karakura Town. The story revolves around Ichigo protecting people from evil spirits called hollows, and eventually protecting those close to him.
